As well as DesignPatterns, I've had a few thoughts on anti-patterns as well. These are things that seem like a good idea, but really aren't (or may be good ideas, but only in certain circumstances)

Over at the WikiWikiWeb, there's a listing of AntiPatterns which has a couple of entries of mine own:

• AnAthena: a warning for all those employers who insist on the 'perfect fit' for the job.
• DryWaterhole: on the skills drought that may ensue when all the Athenas are used up.
• GlassWall: the problems AnAthena culture presents to the hapless employee when they try to get new experience on the job.
